Understanding leadership competence for sustainability

Considering a globally growing need to firmly incorporate sustainability aspects into company performance, it is clear that there is a need to learn more about what the leadership competences are that will determine the change lying ahead for many companies.

The awareness of and competence for sustainability in human resource development is a key factor in generating change towards integrating social and environmental aspects into economic strategies and activities.

Although patent remedies do not exist, there is a considerable need to learn more about how best to integrate sustainability issues in leadership development within corporations.
