If you ask five different people how they understand “collective leadership for sustainability”, you will certainly get five different answers that address the different perspectives of this approach and reflect its wholeness. During the event, these different views and perspectives initiated a fascinating discussion about the potential of the "Collective Leadership for Sustainability" model, which was developed and introduced by the CLI . The dialogue was attended by experts and practitioners from different industries and sectors. Already at the beginning of the discussion on the Collective Leadership for Sustainability model, the relevance of the issue itself became evident. This was also reflected by Mr. Appenzeller, board member of INCOVIS AG: "The Collective Leadership for Sustainability approach is very significant for the complex realities currently faced by many businesses: It creates a space for leadership development in which each and every individual can contribute not only their professional competencies, but also their personal strengths. Besides developing one’s professional qualifications, this model also emphasizes the soft skills."

The Potsdam Future Dialogues The best way to prepare for the future is to create it together.
Petra Kuenkel, Founder and Executive Director of CLI, explained in her introducing words: "People, who lead collectively, are creating paths for a jointly, innovative approach to find solutions to meet the challenges of sustainability. Furthermore, they are helping to implement these solutions as an act of shared responsibility.” The dialogue series aims to bring together change-makers from all sectors and to provide them with a platform for practical exchange. The upcoming events of the Potsdam Future Dialogues series will set a focus on different aspects and challenges of Collective Leadership.
