Andrew Aitken and David Bond presented a practitioner’s paper co-authored by Petra Kuenkel and Andrew Aitken on the “Key factors for the successful implementation of stakeholder partnerships” using the Case of the African Cashew initiative as an example. The paper and the presentation were well received by peers in a session entitled “Collaboration in Value Chains”, which had other papers creating shared value in the agricultural supply chain as well as fostering innovation for sustainable food security. The conference brought together practitioners and academics in the field of social entrepreneurship and took place between the 14 and 17 of November, 2011 in Cape Town South Africa.
